THE RADICAL GEEKS

Radical Geeks is all about giving a platform to people who work within multiple fandoms that are elevating marginalized voices. The core reason why so many of us connect to comic books, science fiction, movies, TV shows, anime, gaming and animation, is this idea of justice against seemingly insurmountable odds. We’re pulled in by stories that make us feel that any one of us at any moment can be a hero, but also that we're fighting to level the playing field for others. Through Radical Geeks we look at elevating these stories, by talking to creators in the genre about their unique commentary on racism, classism, geographical bias, LGBTQ issues as well as gender non-confomity. And how we can understand each other better. Comics, media and science fiction have always mirrored the world around us, if you question that reflection, then you are a radical geek.
